Although the pattern says to switch to a size 0 needle for the heel turn and foot, I’m just sticking to the size 1 needle (mainly because I don’t own 0 dpns and just wanted to keep knitting).

I only knitted the heart heel on one sock because I didn’t think I would have enough of the gray yarn to make two. I didn’t want to alternate the stripes, so I just made one of the heels be “solid” in the multi-colored yarn. I like the way they turned out and my friend is pleased as punch with them.
