I have finished the body and thumb gusset on the first mitt, now the thumb stitches are on a holder until I have time to finish that.

I finished the first mitt. I am glad I made the larger size, because even that is little tight. Not so tight I can’t wear it, but it’s tight. I had to pick up 4 stitches in the gap at the thumb instead of 2. I always have that problem, there is always too large of a gap when I have to pick up stitches for a thumb. but again, I’m glad, because it’s tight on my thumb too, even with the extra stitches.
