Great pattern, and I’m going to knit another one, because here’s what happened with this one:
The yarn was so bulky that the hat didn’t have the drape or slouch that I was going for (even though it was still danged cute). I was going to rip it back to the band and reknit on larger needles, but my mom got her hands on it before I could do that, and she loved it just as it was. Off it went to it’s new home!
