Well, so much for finishing for my wedding. That said, I WILL finish the thing. I enjoy working on it, so that’s not a problem… I’m just not a fast-enough knitter to finish a rush project like that. I’m almost done with the lace repeats, though, and then I change over to construction and blocking. I think it’ll come out nicely in the end, and it’s not so wedding-riffic that I wouldn’t be able to wear it for anything else. I rather like it.

Started with the usual casting on twice, because I messed something up the first time, and am proceeding apace. This has beads, which is new for me, but that’s all right. It’ll be good. Keep a good thought for me… I’ve only got until Jan. 4th to finish.
