I’m starting with the size 42.5” size for the upper chest and I’ll continue to make fitting adjustments as I go.

This is a great pattern--easy to follow and easy to adjust for fit. However, I didn’t like the way that the pattern as written looked on me. I ended up going back and adding 3/4 sleeves. I also ripped out the welted band at the bottom and redid the bottom band in 2x2 rib, shortening the length of the sweater by about an inch in the process. I’m much happier with the end result.
