Using Baltic for Color A and Bag of Juju for Color B

September 11, 2015

Finished Clue #1- perfect for TV knitting, and I love how squishy and lovely it turned out. The TML is stunning! I’m really pleased with the color and texture.

Finished Clue #2- Surprise! Still working in Color A.
This definitely required more attention than the first clue. I had to tink back a couple of rows early on because I purled when I should have knit. Figures. But this made me focus much more on the remaining rows in this clue- there are far too many stitches per row to keep having to rip back!
Really love how this is coming along, and am very curious what the next clues will bring. I cannot wait to use the Skeinny Dipping yarn and see how that color knits up.

Finished the last 2 rows of Clue #3 this morning and immediately started Clue #4 (the last one, so sad!).
The rows are SOOO long now, it’s taking me forever to knit just one- but I will persevere.
Cannot wait to wear this- I am so in love with these colors!!!

Finished and blocked- and she is glorious!!!
The only change I made was to reincorporate Color A back in by doing another 2 rows of stockinette and a picot bindoff in the blue- but that was just personal preference. I wanted to add another pop of the Baltic to tie it all together. I really could not be happier!
Even though I was questioning my decision during the millionth hour of binding off (at least that’s what it felt like), once it was blocked I knew I made the right choice.
I absolutely love this shawl!!! Could not possibly be happier with how this turned out- and will be wearing it proudly at Rhinebeck!
