For kicks & giggles. Bought this yarn to try out -- hadn’t ever touched it before. But it feels amazing.

Not sure what I’ll do with this blanket, but the stitch is new to me -- it’s fun to break some new creative ground there.

The colors are going well together. I figure I’ll find a fun border to stick around it. I’m planning white with ticks of color, since I’ve opted not to use the white in the body of the blanket.

UPDATE: Haven’t quite finished the border, but ran completely out of the white. I’ll want to order another skein with the next KP order I place. No rush, though.

I’m thinking that the end product would make a nice co-sleeping blanket (you lay the baby on it and when you need to switch sides, you just slide the blankie with the baby on it over -- baby stays very much asleep, and mom’s back doesn’t get strained). It’s also a perfect “lovey” size -- enough to snuggle with, but not enough to drag.

As it is, it’s just sitting in a bag waiting for more white Comfy to arrive so I can finish it.

UPON COMPLETION: Very nice. Used #46 from Around the Corner Crochet Borders book and finished up almost every little bit of the colorful skeins and a decent amount of a 2nd skein of white.
