Cut out one pattern rep (ie 5 panels - 2 center and 3 fill instead of 3 center and 4 fill), for 18.5” width. Knit to 60” total length - 9 body reps on each side. Need ~940yds lace.
For OWL: Zodiac Interpretation (Leo)
Each side = ~12 ‘reps’ (edging = 3, plus the 9)
Each rep = 4%
4/9/11 - Started. The CO took three times - first it was way too tight and I couldn’t budge the needles, second time I wrapped the wrong way, and the third time it worked. Reading charts backwards isn’t the nicest thing ever, but it’s manageable. I keep forgetting to go back to the beginning of the repeat on the chart when I start the second repeat. My eyes are pretty much glued to the chart, so thank goodness I was ‘watching’ the super-vomit-worthy-drama-filled episode of Project Runway from two weeks ago - it both allowed me to concentrate while being entertained, and not pay attention to any of the drama.
6/9/11 - 1/24
9/9/11 - 3/24
15/9/11 - 4/24
22/9/11 - 6/24
23/9/11 - 7/24
1/10/11 - 8/24 (almost to 9!)
14/10/11 - 12/24! Done with the first half!
15/10/11 - 13/24. Watched waaaaaaaaay too much Torchwood today (discovered that Netflix had changed the way they do their one month free trials, and since I got a new credit card since I last used Netflix, I got the free month. And they have Miracle Day on streaming! Muhahaha!).
18/10/11 - 15/24. On a side note, I’ve noticed that my enjoyment of the pattern is directly related to how much I’m enjoying the show/movie I’m watching. Drama-filled PR and really crappy Naruto filler = I hate it. X-men First Class, Forrest Gump, Finding Neverland, Torchwood = Best. Thing. EVAH.
27/10/11 - 17/24
5/11/11 - One row away from 19/24.
14/11/11 - Bound off last night, blocking now! Should be dry by tonight, which means end-weaving time, then hopefully pics tomorrow! Later: Done! And it’s gorgeous!
