Enjoyed the first one so much I’m doing another.

This time, against the clock…

11th October and half the squares are made. I’ll be joining them in a few days.

20th October and half the squares have been joined. I’ve a book to finish this evening but will be joining squares in short breaks while cooking and settling the house down so may get a few more in.

Finally into the last of the joining by mid November, some sad family news impacting on my usual stitching routine, though eventually allowing time on trains and in the B&B as well as an inherited bag of knitting and crochet hooks, needles and notions.

The square atop this blanket in one of the pictures is part of Mary, Mary which nicely circles the squares of both, I think. By the end of the trip home almost all the ends are sewn in and I’m ready to start in on the foundation of the border.

24th November and I’m almost done, working my way through the edging after a break to prevent a foul mood being hooked into the thing.

4th December. Finished and ready to be washed and taken to ‘nham.
