The tutorial was very well written, the pattern easy to remember and the yarn perfectly squishy-soft to make this blanket a fast and nice knit.

Finished size : 68 cm wide * 100 cm high.

I adapted the stripes colourwork to suit my preferences.
(white yarn : held double)

Here is how i did it :

4 rows grey / garter stitch
34 rows grey / chevron pattern

1st stripe :
16 rows yellow / chevron pattern
4 rows white / chevron pattern
16 rows yellow / chevron pattern

16 rows grey / chevron pattern

2nd stripe :
16 rows yellow / chevron pattern
4 rows white / chevron pattern
16 rows yellow / chevron pattern

16 rows grey / chevron pattern

3rd stripe :
16 rows yellow / chevron pattern
4 rows white / chevron pattern
16 rows yellow / chevron pattern

34 rows grey / chevron pattern
4 rows grey / garter stitch

I washed it and blocked it this morning, it is HUGE and perfect to keep a baby warm by tugging it around him or by folding it double.

As you can see, my cat Marcus wants one for himself ;)
