This is a bit fiddly to block but I’m happy with the way it came out. You can’t tell in some of the photos but the natural variegation of the yarn kicked in right when the pattern switched gears, which makes it look classy -- as if I had planned it that way! Final dimensions are about 50” wide and with a 25” radius.

This is finally finished and awaiting blocking, when we shall see whether I made any glaring mistakes or not. It’s so hard to tell as you’re knitting.

Estimated yarn usage: 600 yards of heavy laceweight/ light fingering handspun Wensleydale.

Cast on - at Family Camp! Finished the pawprints in the first 24 hours… came home and the cats still had fleas!
