Notes

Yay! Melinda’s lovely shawl pattern is now available and this test knit is modeled on the pattern page. It’s a great pattern for handspun yarn and works for just about any gauge. I had a wonderful time knitting it.

Shawl is crescent shaped, about 50” end to end, and used about 320 yards of my handspun from the “Mardi Gras” batt. My yarn was fingering-to-sport weight, roughly. Love the colors.

Mayan Spring because we are fully expecting to be here to celebrate next spring even after whatever goes down with the Mayan calendar.

I’m test knitting this for a designer friend with my handspun from Butterfly Girl Designs. So exciting! I’ve been waiting for the chance to showcase this fun yarn!
