12/22: a few of things about this pattern…

1. i had no idea what size cable to use with my circs; one 16” didn’t work right, so i wound up using two 24” circs.

2. after BO i had way more sts on my needles than i was supposed to.

3. the leg/sleeve holes are huge so i’m stitching them closed prior to making the ribbing.

4. now the legs were ridiculously small and too close together, so I ripped back and picked up 24 sts.

overall i’m pretty happy with how this turned out, though i wish it was a a touch shorter in the front (so he doesn’t pee on it) and just a little bit snugger.

i added an inch to the neck, just ‘cuz rufus has a really long neck and i wanted to be able to turtle-neck it properly.

also, the yarn knit up pretty stiff and the little guy couldn’t walk, so i softened it up with a trick my yarn yoda taught me: a quick bath with hair conditioner/“cream rinse” followed by the usual towel squeeze and a quick blow dry.
