MYB from someone at Crafty night (had suspicions confirmed - was Sarah!!). Have to knit more to reveal more treasures….hope my guess is correct!

Got a nifty WIP bag with the ball inside, a pen, 2x cable needles, wee pink notebook and a block of chocolate so far. Nearly at the 1st hidden treasure.

Started knitting and yah some things have emerged!!

Over the weekend I got a bag of beautiful buttons.

DD1 didn’t want to pose, typical!
Then 3 scratchies and won $6! LIKE!!

10/10 Finished the contrast band & onto the skirt. The contrast band is 4ply double stranded. Have had this wool for like 5 years so was great to find a use for it as it matches the blue perfectly.

Did a massive amount of the skirt part done from Ohakune - Auckland on Labour Day. Did to size 6yr tunic length.

Finished hem 26/10 and now onto sleeves. I have a small amount left but not sure what else is in ball. Unraveled the ball to weigh it right and get last wee treasures out :-) Had 36g left so reballed into two balls of 18g each to do each sleeve and then trim again. This will have short sleeves but will look fab anyways.

Love the colours and the blue trim works really well. Can’t wait to see it in action. Am planning on finishing it for DD1 for her 6th birthday on the 28th October…Race is on!
