7/3/2014 - I’ll make size M, but shorter. I want a 53 cm length for the body, and I don’t know how much yarn will be left to make the sleeves… maybe I’ll have to make 3/4 sleeves? I need to customize the pattern a bit.
10/3/2014 - Pattern adjusted and printed. I took accurate measurements in length (I think width of M size is ok, with some positive ease), made calculations, then flipped the sleeve top-down rewriting instructions. This way I can just knit two sleeves at the same time until I run out of yarn!
20/3/2014 - Cast on and a few rows. Managinig three balls is easier than I thought.
22/3/2014 - Pause. I need to make a hat as soon as possible, so I have to delay this project.
4/4/2014 - Resume.
10/4/2014 - Front completed. I have three little leftover balls, so I’m pretty sure I have enough yarn to finish! Probably enough to make some kind of border, too, because the fabric rolls up a lot and I need to fix it.
28/9/2014 - Resume: making the back.
24/10/2014 - Back completed. I’m too lazy…
27/10/2014 - Started the first sleeve.
13/11/2014 - First sleeve completed. I’ll pause another time to knit a Christmas gift.
13/1/2015 - Second sleeve started.
20/1/2015 - Second sleeve completed.
1/2/2015 - Sewing completed. Still need finishing edges.
3/2/2015 - Finished neckline and sleeves with single crochet instead of slip stitch. The bottom hem was rolling too much, so I used all the little leftover balls to add a garter stitch border. My sweater was shorter than what is written in the pattern, so adding a bit of length is ok. Sweater finished! ^o^
I feel a bit uncomfortable because there’s too much bulk under the arms for me, but I absolutely love the color and I think I’ll use this sweater many times! :)
