#The Back photo(3rd one down) is a good representation of the actual coral colour:-)

I am in dire need of a semi mindless project to knit so I thought I would give this pattern a second chance!

I love the colour of the Capri and have had it a while now… Doesn’t it scream sunshine?!

But now I think I should do a more summery sweater… cash/cotton? Yeah… Summer is just around the corner, right?

Nope, I want to use the EFM! It’s so bright and cheery!

I never in the world would have thought that I would LIKE short rows…till now:-) I am almost done with the first set of short rows and I am thrilled with them! I can’t even see the “wrapped” stitches:-))

German short rows are the way to go..at least for me! (I love to learn new things and this one rocks my short row world!…Invisible wrapped stitches, just don’t do it too tightly!)

Other than that, this is a fairly basic pattern and it’s going along very nicely! It’s a well written pattern!

Ack! Rowing out badly, I realize that 3/4’s of the way done that my needles are screwed and I have been knitting with a 3.75 needle and purling with a 4mm? (Time to order new needles! Done!)

So I have the needles sorted out and am doing the sleeves on 4mm… still rowing out and my hands hurt!? (And I am still rowing out some?) I think this EFM is just to slick for me? My hands haven’t ached in long time…I started another project, out of aromatic cotton, and my hands feel better? How strange!?

Anyway, I would love to just get this done but I need a short break from it! My hands thank me already… but this is very close to being done!

April 7th

It’s done:-)

The only things that I did different from the pattern is I add one extra row of radial increases on the bottom edge and I did my sleeves my way and did a folded hem on them.

I meant to measure everything before washing but with DH, I got distracted and went ahead and washed it! (But I remember the sleeve length:-)

Sleeves:
before washing, 18 inches.
after washing, 17 inches.

I hand washed it well and threw it in a dryer till damp. It’s in need of a steam pressing but looks pretty good! The rowing out evened out somewhat but I can still see it. Not bad though…

Great pattern and is written very well! I will be knitting it again now that I have no fear of short rows:-)

Sept 4th

I am a little disappointed in the yarn! After 4 months of light wear it’s pilling quite badly! Argh! The “Cashwool” IS suppose to be pill resistant but I am not getting that with this one?

I’ll take the shaver to it and see if that helps slow down the pilling…maybe once it has done it, it won’t continue?
