I need a project for a road trip so this will be perfect for that! I am excited to have one of these for myself! Nancy’s turned out so beautiful and I have enough for another :-)

Mods

1. I cast on 2 extra stitches so I can do my slipped stitch edging for easy stitch pick up and row counting.

2. German short rows.

3. I will do 1 or 2 extra radial increases on the lower edge for length.

4. I will likely make the sleeves longer, again, with a folded hem.

Aug. 24th

One month later I am on the 2nd radial lower increases. (I have been knitting other things as well:-) After these, just the sleeves and trim to go…

Sept 26th

It’s done and having it’s hot bubble bath! :-)

Measurements before washing:

Sleeves 18” and 28” long.
Underarm to hem 18”
Full length 27”
Chest 23”

It looks OK before a wash but the hem flips up and the material looks frumpy but I KNOW that will miraculously evolve into a gorgeous garment when dry:-)

It’s freaking beautiful, if I do say so myself:-)

It barely changed in size after a wash/soak and tumble dry on low till damp! It’s perfect! I couldn’t ask for nicer and I couldn’t be happier with it!!
