Finished today! Looks a little loopsided before blocking, but I think it will work. I still have app. 10g of the grey yarn left, but size Looks ok to me.Now out to soak and (lightly) blocking.

So, grew quite a bit after lightly blocking (see picture on the drying rack) and I really like the drape it has due to the silk. Very fitting that I finished a shawl with crosses in the pattern on Good Friday! Really like it, I think it will get quite a lot of wear!

Pattern is very well written, I nevertheless managed to mess up the final edging and had to tweak stitch Count a bit. Did not do the recommended alternating cast off, but just did one ridge each in red and grey and then used a single crochet cast off.
