I started on 2.5mm needles but the sock came out too tight. Usually I am a loose knitter, but apparently not on colorwork. I restarted on 3mm needles, and now the tension is right, but I have a different row gauge. After doing the 2d pattern repeat up to row 21, I have now a 17.5 cm cuff. I don’t like very long cuffs on my socks, so I stopped there.

Did the heel and foot as per pattern, but the socks came out too long in the foot for DD with a 42 shoe size. I frogged the pattern to 3 rows before the end of the chart, and reknit with a shorter toe. I did a decrease EOR 6 times, and ER until I had 24 stitches left, and grafted the toe. I also did the heel and toe on a smaller (2.5mm) needle.

The finished socks fit, but I have severe puckering where I changed needles (magic looping). I hope this will block out, and when wearing the socks….
