1/21/14 - I don’t have enough of my Imagination handpaint yarn, so I’m going to dig through my stash to see what I could use for the secondary color for this shawl. I kind of have an idea of one that could work, but I want to make sure that there isn’t something that I would be happier with. (And, who knows, maybe I won’t like any options in my stash so I’ll have to pick up something new at knitting this week.)

Total change of plans: I don’t have anything that would work well with my Imagination yarn, so I’m using a skein of Dream in Color Smooshy with Cashmere that came as the October instalment in last year’s DiC club. There is only 400 yards of that, so it’s going to be my main color and then I’m going to use some leftover stroll heather and trecking as contrast stripes. All three yarns have similar styles that they’re spun in so the color will be the only visual differance and because the cashmere yarn is the main color, I don’t think that the slight varience in softness will be that noticeable.

For clue 1 I did option A. At the end of this clue, I switched from a 24” needle to a 32”.
