21 September 2014: Planning this test knit for Amanda (orinskye). I do not have circulars in the US2 size so I will have to use the US 1 1/2 size. Considering that the original pattern gauge would give me a pair of size L mitts, I hope that this needle will make them slightly smaller for my hands. I need to swatch though.

27 September 2014: After swatching I had to go down to US 0 (2.0 mm) to get gauge! So that is the needle I will be using. Casted on with cable cast on method since pattern did not specify the method to be used.

12 October 2014: I finished the first mitt. There are some unvoluntary modifications. I found out that there were 2 stitches extra when I divided for the thumb, probably forgot a pair of decreases somewhere (cannot see where, though). I fixed it by increasing only 1 stitch at the gusset so I could end with the asked number of stitches. I also did only 12 rows in the hand ribbing. Now to the second one! Casting on.

24 October 2014: I am past the gusset in the second mitt and I have confirmed I worked with two extra stitches in the right mitt because this one is muuuuuuch tighter when I try it on (also I think I have been knitting tighter in general).

26 October 2014: Finished! They are lovely. More pictures will follow.
