The silk is working up beautifully, if a little splittily, and reminds me of that smoky white almost pinkish color so unique to the palest rose quartz. Very pretty.

Will use size-6 champagne colored silver-foil-lined beads in the center of each little diamond in the border section, and then perhaps scattered along the edge.

Was worried about having enough yarn because the skein was underweight at 91 grams rather than 100, but it turned out perfectly and went to a very happy bride.
