March 2010 Seaming finally. Takes some time! I have to be careful, seaming is making this yarn get weak on me if I’m not. It’s going okay, still trying to decide if I want to change the collar somehow, it looks too wide to me, Chuck says he’d like something that covers more (you will see t-shirt, but that was the case in the magazine photos to, and I like it, it looks intentional anyway) Ultimately I think I maybe just did some extra rows (I swear that’s what the pattern said though!) and I might just frog back a bit.

I’m done! I don’t think I would use this yarn for a sweater again it’s pill-y, for me at least. We’re going to have to take care of this one, plan on hand-washing very gently. But it looks pretty good on Chuck and it seems cozy. And it only took what..a year and a half, and now it’s spring (supposedly.)

Feb. 2010 picked this up again, I have all the pieces and will seam after my test!

May 5th definitely is hibernating now, and has been for months. It’s kind of sitting in the closet screaming finish me… and Chuck is when it’s not. Should not put projects away for so long! I have nearly a sleeve done, but the second is not started…so that will be fun figuring out if I can make it close to the same. I think I was struggling at the collar. I may have accidentally cut one of the ends that was supposed to be for the collar…I dunno. ugh. This one is going to take more effort to get back into than the Rapunzel stockings.

Feb. 26th this is not hibernating! except that it sort of is. If there were an option between hibernating and wip, that’s where this would be. Maybe I’ll attack it between Rapunzel stockings.

Dec. 30thMade progress on the first sleeve. The back is close but not quite done, I got a little confused. Pattern calls for a repeat of most of the chart while the picture looks like it’s just over half of the chart. Plus a near complete repeat seems like it would be too high. It really shouldn’t be too hard to just do what seems right, but I wanted to get most of the major knitting out of the way first.
Dec. 28th Had Chuck try out what I have so far. Not really all that close to finished and it’s past Christmas so oh well. He promises to appreciate it as a Christmas gift whenever he ends up getting it!

Dec. 10th Soft, pretty color. Wonder if there’s any chance I could get it done in time for use as a Christmas present. Going faster than I thought it would, but still seems doubtful. Oh yes, knitting it up on my fancy rosewood needles from Lantern Moon. So nice!
