I’m making this as part of my Winter 2011 History of Magic OWL for the HPKCHC group. It is part of my representation of Ginny.

1/8/11 - I love this scarf! Going through 2 full color repeats gave me about a 5-foot scarf after casting on 30 stitches. The colors are vibrant, the transitions are smooth, and the scarf is squooshy and feels great on my neck, plus it keeps me nice and warm :)

1/6/11 - So far, I’m really liking the way this is turning out. The color repeats on the yarn are gradual enough to blend nicely, long enough to stripe and look nice, but short enough to keep it interesting. My ball started with red and I’ve gotten to a blue-green so far. I haven’t encountered any knots yet.
Initially I was concerned about the yarn breaking because a couple places were loosely spun, but it’s stronger than I first thought. I pulled on some of the loose-looking places a couple times and they stayed together just fine.
I will say that if I make a scarf like this again (after the 3 I ordered yarn for already, and I probably will) I would pair it with black Swish rather than WotA, just because the Chroma feels more like Swish than WotA.
