24 de juny, 2012: mostra amb els quatre colors, amb agulles de 3,25 mm. 22 punts x 53 passades, 10 cm. Provaré amb agulles de 3 mm.

El color que combina millor amb el Cordovan és el de Greta. El Tiziano Red queda massa fosc (a la foto és veu més brillant del que és en realitat) i el Terracota fa massa contrast.

13 de juliol, 2012. Començo amb les agulles de 3,25 mm. Com que em fa l’efecte que el punt de mitja queda fluix, desfaig i canvio a agulles de 3 mm. Llavors em fa l’efecte que el teixit queda una mica encarcarat. Desfaig i torno a les agulles de 3,25.

Quan estic comenant la cinquena repetició, m’adono que hi ha alguna cosa que no acaba de quedar bé: després de mirar-m’ho, rellegir les instruccions i mirar uns vídeos a youtube (enllaçats a sota), veig que el problema és que no he teixit els wrapped stitches. Però decideixo tirar endavant sense desfer.

15 de juliol, 2012: Tot desfet. Al final he canviat d’opinió i he preferit tornar a començar i esmenar els errors.

21 de juliol, 2012: Acabo la primera pista. Començo la segona.

27 de juliol, 2012: Quan era a punt d’acabar la segona pista (només em faltaven 7 passades), se m’ha trencat una agulla. I no en tinc de recanvi.

28 de juliol, 2012: Segona pista acabada. Començo la tercera.

Merda, acabo de descobrir que he fet malament un cosa des del començament: he passat tots els punts de la vora amb la llana al darrere…

30 de juliol, 2012: Tercera pista acabada.

12 de setembre, 2012: acabat. He gastat 91 gr de Malabrigo i 113 gr de Greta and the Fibers.

June 24th, 2012: I’ve knitted a gauge with the four colours and 3,25 mm needles. It’s 22 st x 53 rows = 10 cm, so I’ll try with 3 mm needles.

Greta’s colour is the one that best matches Cordovan. Tiziano Red is too dark (darker than in the photo) and Terracota is too contrasting.

July 13th, 2012. Finally we’ve got the clue and I began knitting with 3.25 mm needles. The fabric was loose, so I unravelled it and began again with 3 mm needles. The fabric was too stiff, then. So I began again with 3.25 mm needles and tried to tighten the stockinete parts. After four repeats, I found a mistake: I wasn’t picking up the wrapped stitches! But I decided not to unravel again.

July 15th, 2012. Unravelled and began again to fix some errors.

July 21st, 2012: Clue 1 finished. I began knitting clue 2.

July 27th, 2012: I had only 7 rows more to knit to finish clue 2 and I’ve broken the needle. Project stopped ‘til I got new needles.

July 28th, 2012: Clue 2 finished. I began knitting clue 3.

Oops. I’ve just noticed that I’ve been slipping all border stitches with the yarn in back…

July 30th, 2012: Clue 3 finished.

September 12th, 2012: Finished! I’ve used 91 gr of Malabrigo and 113 gr of Greta and the Fibers.
