Love! Interesting knit and I’m so pleased with the finished cardi! :)

The pattern is very clear and well written. It was a fast and interesting knit, with some new moments for me such as the front and the waist band.

It grew a bit after wash. The sleeves and body became longer, but that’s just fine since the sleeve was a bit short.

I’m knitting this during the World Ski Championship 2011 in my hometown Oslo.

Gauge: 23 st/10 cm

08.03: Finished with knitting, sewing and weaving in the ends. Just washing and blocking left. Looks good so far! :)

07.03: Started with the I-cord bind off.

05.03: Started on the pockets, 34 cm from the underarms.

04.03: Started on the back waistband 21 cm from the underarms.

01.03: Finished right sleeve and starting up with the body.

27.02: Finished the left sleeve during men’s 30km country cross skiing. I make the sleeves long, it’s to cold for 3/4 sleeves in Norway. 23 rows of garter st = 12 GTR ridges on RS. 57 st. before garter st. I-cord.

25.02: Started the left sleeve during ski jump for women in Midstubakken.
