I used Judy’s Magic Cast-On for these toe-up socks. They are based on the Riverbed Master Pattern from the New Pathways for Sock Knitters. I added two sets of short rows to the back side of the sock after knitting in the round resumed after the heel was complete. After the two sets of short rows, I finished them with an I-cord bind-off.
