Notes

Using afghan hook
I have frogged this six times.
The bottom-most photo was my attempt using a front and back loop method. I didn’t like the way that blanket began to grow. I wanted to start it from corner to corner.
I switched to afghan.
In order to create the correct shape, I inc at beg and end of forward row.
The second to last photo shows how I alternated between Tss and TwTss every other stitch. This created a pattern that I found difficult to maintain. Also, the fabric was too tight. I frogged it, pulled out a larger hook and created a much better texture.
I follow the row below the working row and work the alternate tss and then a twtss using the backloop.
It would be a twisted simple stitch or TwTSS but I am using the backloop and not the front loop creating a clockwise twist. I think it looks prettier.
This created a nice pattern.
If someone knows the name of the backloop stitch, please share.
