Notes

Bought this yarn early in my knitting career… it was on sale and I didn’t really know that I didn’t like striping yarn yet. Except I’ve never really used self-striping yarn (I just see pictures around the internets).

Decided to cast on a pair of plain-ish socks using this yarn just to use it up. We’ll see. Thinking I may use the Sweet Tomato heel… we’ll see.

CO64, 1.5” 2x2 rib, then stockinette. Magic loop cuz that’s what I could find for size 2 needles.

07.24.14 - Sweet tomato heel, 2 1/2ish wedges (one wedge per stripe color - 2 wider and 1 narrower stripe), standard-ish toe decreases (the first one is off-center…) with decreases every other row for one stripe and every row until 8 stitches per side prior to kitchener. Not too much yarn left yay :)

2nd sock changed Sweet Tomato wedges with color, which looks better, I think.

I don’t think I mentioned it earlier, but one of the toes is a couple stitches off-centered. Not that it makes a difference, but it’s this really vaguely annoying thing when I fold them :P I don’t like these socks because they itch a bit; when I’m wearing my support stockings, it’s not a big deal, and they are warm and comfortable and fit reasonably well, but the itch factor is annoying.
