notes on K’s dress:

-used size 5 and 7 needles

• Do a cable cast on
• each color 30 rows just short of 4” a color
• jogless stripes in the round - http://www.craftsy.com/blog/2013/08/knitting-jogless-stri... -cast on 10 sts under arms …….

The following did NOT work, the dress was far too snug without any fullness:
-switch to rainbow dress pattern size 10. increase 5 (I think?) sts in next round - 144 sts.
- increase every tenth round as stated in the pattern

So I ripped back to the end of the ribbing and did the following:

-increased using kfab to 168 sts
-switched to size 7 needles
-k 12 placed a marker, knit 66 placed a marker, knit 24 placed a marker, knit 66 placed a marker, k 12 (end of row)

notes on C’s dress:
-used size 6 and 7 needles
-knit 20 rows of each color ” each
