Notes

I finished this with a picot trim, my favorite way to end girls top and vest patterns. It just makes them all the more feminine.

knit 4 rounds.
Then on round 5 I did * knit 2 tog, yo repeat from * to end, yo.
Rounds 6 -9: knit.
Cast off leaving a LONG tail, fold hem in half so that the points made by the yo’s are even and so the cast off tucks under to the inside of the vest. Then whipstitch the cast off to the corresponding purl on the inside of the vest. repeat until finished.

As you can see I knit the top a bit too long and the shirt underneath it bunched up a bit making it look all lumpy bumpy but it’s so cute in person!

Did duplicate stitch (using this tutorial) with this chart: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rabbit-chart. It didn’t come out perfect. This was my first time trying duplicate stitch and seeing how easy it was, it won’t be my last!

cast on 7sts under arms.
