Notes galore due to my modifying quite a bit of the pattern:

9/19 - Fits her PERFECTLY with some room to grow WOO HOO! Pics coming soon :)

6/5 I added 3 extra inches to the hood to make it drape more
5/30 I ended up adding about 5 extra inches to the area between the top of the arm holes and the neck yoke. For the ribbing I switched to size 5 needles (but stayed with the size 8 needles for the cabling and seed stitch trim). From reading other ravelers notes on this pattern it seems that the ribbing portion is too loose so I am hoping this helps to compensate for that.

5/28 I am now at 24” and I think I will still add another inch or two

5/27 Ok it looks like the arm slits are still up to high for my daughters body so I am going to rip out the ribbing I just did for the neck and add some more length before the yoke shaping….

5/26 finished arm holes with about an extra 1/2” in the length of the arm hole. Also added a couple extra inches from the top of the arm hole to where you start the yoke so instead of the piece measuring 19.25”at this point it measures about 21”.

5/6 - I did end up switching to size 8 needles. The gauge is still a 1/2” off though.

4/29/10-Hmmm.. just checked my gauge and I am at 22 stitches per inch instead of 18 like I should be… do I start over, keep it as is or switch to bigger needles mid project…hmmmmmmmmmmm…
