Notes

This is an interesting project. I have always wanted to try knitting two socks at a time, but wasn’t real sure how to go about it. I made a few fits and starts but it was way to clumsy at the cast on and the first inch or so. Then I watched this video https://youtu.be/Qs4BHByRHlI and a light bulb went on. What a simple idea for combating the futzy first stage of 2 at a time socks. I wasn’t quite sure what type of heel I should make. I only ever did the heel flap and gusset style. I looked at all the options and decided to stick with what I knew so I could concentrate on the new-to-me-magic loop method.
I have completed the turned heel on both socks and will begin picking up side stitches for the gusset. I know my limits. I am tired, hence, not the night to take this on.
