I started this for my son, who can’t wait for it to be finished. The pattern is nicely written and it’s coming along pretty well.

Oct 2012 -- have all the pieces done, found a fabric store that shortens zippers, figured out the short rows. The body is on the blocking table and all I have to do is sew in the zipper. My son can’t wait for it to be finished.

10/26 - one side seem to go and the Dude can’t wait!

10/27 - The Dude is happy.

I didn’t want to carry the yarn across too many stitches because it seemed too easy for my son to snag the strands. Instead, I carried over two and it looks fine on the outside.
