The fair isle design are peeries and borders from the book “mastering color knitting” by Melissa Leapman.
I used a 3mm needle which resulted into a small hat (little bit too small for my head).

I know it is a woman’s hat, but I do take better pictures than my boyfriend, so he is usually the model ;)
