Notes

16 Mar - front finished and lightly blocked.
Very pleased with the visual effect of using these 2 yarns in double row strips.

It seemed slower to knit than some of the other stripe cushions, and with it being a higher twist sock yarn has a very smooth finish. I used 2 strands of the sock yarn to have it knitting as a DK.
Tension was 22.5 stitches to 10cm, so I case on 90 stitches. In fact 88 stitches would also have worked well with this yarn and the tension I was getting.

I only used 48g of each of the 100g skeins, but I’m going to knit the back in plain Bluefaced Leicester, natural oatmeal DK, and save the unused half of these rather gorgeous yarns for another cushion front.

The back only took half of the 100g ball, so I’m delighted to have been able to use some gorgeous hand dyed BFL and still have a stylish cushion for around £15.
