I bought this yarn at Ally Pally, they said I’d need 5 skeins to make a shawl.

By the time I had finished the second skein I had a gazillion teeny tiny stitches on the needle and it looked like a mermaids fishing net.

I bought some more yarn from www.luxuryyarns.co.uk which had no label which was silk with no slubs, and carried the beautiful blue of the centre panel.

After 5 sets of eyelet lace I used my regular crochet cast off. It is now ready for Jon to block. Delighted to get it finished!

It is my second transparent lace shawl, this is getting to be a habit!
