10 Jul 2011: Casting on. I love the twisted garter stitch cuff. Doesn’t take a lot of work and it’s great watching it unfold on your needles. The Breaking Hearts pattern is rather addictive.

12 Jul 2011: Gusset decreases on the first sock. The pattern is so easy to memorize and quite enjoyable too. I am just a bit worried about the fit. I may have cast on too tight but hope that blocking will stretch it out a bit. Otherwise a great fit so far.

13 Jul 2011: First sock done. Decided to follow the pattern and do the patterned toe. Great enjoyable knit! On to sock number 2.

15 Aug 2011: Done! Would have finished sooner if I hadn’t picked up other projects along the way. Happy with the FO, knitted as per the pattern. I love the colours too.
