8 Jan 2013: Cast on using the invisible loop tutorial from TECHknitting. Had to frog the first attempt as I was off by a couple of stitches at the end of Chart A, and also the first round of stitches didn’t look neat.

Second attempt was much better. Put the knitting away having started the first round of Chart C. I’m off by two stitches somehow and will inspect my work tomorrow before knitting on.

Lovely pattern so far, very easy to follow. I don’t recommend stitchmarkers though as the stitches shift when you have to start the round with a double decrease. Otherwise, fairly easy.

9 Jan 2013: Knitted first few rows of Chart C at knit night. Still loving it, the chart is very easy to follow and at this point quite predictable. It’s all going to get really fun in about 14 rows from now!

10 Jan 2013: Starting row 76 and my remaining skein weighs in at 290g. Started the project with a 329g skein.

11 Jan 2013: Started Chart D, going okay so far.

27 Jan 2013: Up to Row 125 now….long rows, but okay enough for TV knitting. can’t wait to see this all done and blocked!

2 Feb 2013: Done!!! Just have to block and photograph. ETA: Bind off was done using 9mm needles.
