I was getting sick of the socks and the endless stockinette to I cast on something easy and fun to knit for a change.

26 Jun 10: Decided to use one of the hand-dyed WM 80/20 skeins called Almost Purple due to the generous yardage. I wanted to knit a larger shawl using Pepperknit’s mods. Worked up pretty quick. I did 10 repeats of the Budding Lace whilst watching a Supernatural Season 5 marathon with the kids.

28 Jun 10: Nearly done with the 19 repeats and wondering if I should do the pfb or the revised Row 3 of the Lace Border. Decisions, decisions….

9 Jul 10: I am definitely going to run out of yarn so I will stop at the end of the Lace Border and not knit the Scalloped Lace Edge. I think it will look okay that way anyway.

10 Jul 10: Finished. Nearly ran out of yarn so definitely omitted the last chart. Blocked out really big and nice.
