Notes

I like this pattern - it’s an attractive, well-designed hat.

But, the pattern required some figuring. The decreases are a fantastic design element, and I wish they were charted because they are rather open to interpretation and guessing. Also, the chart is a bit too simplified. There are times when the cable background requires a knit instead of a purl in order to maintain the seed stitch.

With this adjustments, the pattern would be totally worth it’s purchase price. I’d make it again.

I like the Autumn House yarn. It wasn’t too expensive and it’s very warm and easy to work with. Lovely heathered color.
