These are very basic socks. Usually I knit socks toe-up but in this case I decided to knit these ankle-down. The reason was that I had six repeats of yarn and it was just enough to knit one repeat at cuff and the two repeats at foot. Ribbing, heel and toe are knit with grey yarn I had in my stash. The heel is the usual short-row heel.
