Oh, goody! It’s time to rub your head, pat your belly, and whistle Dixie--all at the same time. Chart A is a 4-row repeat, Chart B is a 2-row repeat, Chart C is a 20-row repeat. Fortunately, I’ve gotten through the first 6 rows, which means I have enough knitted that at least the knitting and purling parts make sense: I’m no longer having to say, “If this is an odd row it’s a WS row and if it’s a WS row then the gray stitches are knitted.”

All done. I never managed to work on this without parsing the pattern, instruction by instruction, but I survived--and I think I got it all right!

It’s blocking now, then I’ll send it off to Suzanne.

As you can see, the finished size is good when knitted on the US8s. I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease, and I have 39.4 grams (of 85 grams) left.
