Notes
  • Unblocked and unstretched, it’s 18.5 cm wide, 21 cm tall.
  • Wet, and gently spread out to air-dry, it’s 21.5 cm wide, 29 cm tall.
  • After the clothes dryer, it’s 21cm wide, 21 cm tall.

It weighs 50.2 grams, leaving 52.5 grams in the ball--enough for another hat.

Nice, easy pattern. Yes, it gets fiddly at the end. I knitted most of the hat on my Addi Clicks, shortest cable and the US9 tips. Got to the decreases and suddenly remembered I don’t have US9 DPNs. Oops. I finished up using two short cables, the US9 tips on one end and teeny (noticeably too small) US5 tips on the other end. But I want to get a set of 9s.

Hand-washing, but I’ll machine dry.

(The “Mock Cable” results from an easy-peasy rearrangement of stitches which then are knitted out of order.)
