I can’t have an empty photo so that is the ceiling of the St. peter’s basilica a real thing of beauty.
So I cast on for the gauge swatch Monday and love the fabric it creates and think I got the gauge right I have a few more rows to go to know for sure…
Then we are off…

• 3-8-10 OK so this got put aside for Christmas knitting and then Olympic knitting ( as then you would know what it was if I entered it for events :)) So I finished up the last of the Olympic knitting 2 nights ago so… Off to find all the tools again.
• 3-23-10 I had to find special needles for the project because the ones I was using were very problematic. I love the new needles and I’m flying along. I am 9:25 hours into the project and it will be gorgeous! It is a little over my comfort level but hey that what awesome about it. I am already planing to make it again.
• 3-26-10 10:57 (hr:min) the little stop watch I was using to log the time has been resetting itself, so that is why I’m running a tally here too. I am approaching a changing spot in the project and I have looked back on what I have done and I see my mistakes but hey nothing you would see from a horse at full gallop so I’m not going back…
• 4-5-10 13:22 I have reached the change (gusset and heal) in the pattern. I’m excited and happy for this little a bit of change.
• 4-10-10 (1am) 17:20 I am on to chart number 2 now…. whoooo hooooo. 4-10 (9pm) got to rip back a hour worth of work back to the start of first of the chart…
• 4-17-10 I finally broke and told the rightful owner about them and she tried them on. :)
• 5-16-10 37:41 I just finished the 3rd chart!
• 5-31-10 41:59 I’m on row 20 out of 51 of the last chart.
• 6-12-10 the bride tried on the stockings and we decided that we needed to add two more flowers repeats before I can do the Garter section.
• 6-17-10 54:50 I have finished the 2 additional flowers and return to starting the garter section line 34 of Chart 4
• 6-27-2010 57:40 I finished all the charts and Just have to re- bind off. First time was too tight was doing the EZ- sewn bind off but might try something else…
• The wedding colors were purple, blue and green. So I sewed appropriate colored ribbon on normal elastic and left enough to tie bows.
