Notes

I love to travel but the truth is there is a lot of down time. Whether you’re waiting for other people in your party to get ready for dinner, or trying to figure out why the taxi didn’t come, or lamenting that storm that has grounded your plane- you’ll be sitting around with not a lot to do at some point during any trip. To me, dish cloths are one of the best things for this kind of “fill in bits of time” knitting. The pattern is easy to memorize and if you haven’t worked on the project in a while, you can easily look at the worked stitches to see what comes next. As a bonus, these cloths are super useful while traveling- because you never know when you might need a wash rag or to sop up a spill or what not.

I knitted four of these dish cloths while traveling from the U.S through London to S. Africa. Only three are pictured because one got left behind at a hotel. You’re welcome subsequent hotel guest.
