Notes

Loved the Susan B. Anderson Build-A-Toy workshop! This was originally going to be a (strangely-colored) bat, then maybe a cat, then once I finished the head, it was calling out to me as a bird. I love how it all came together with the oversized head, making a whimsical look. All of the parts except the tail came from the workshop handouts. I designed the tail myself, and like how it came out.

The face embroidery consists of spiderweb eyes (first time for this technique!) and french knot nostrils.

All in all, I love how it came out. Like all of her knitted animals of late, Blueberry has named this toy “Taco.” I have no idea why.
