Notes

2014/01/21 - This is such a fun knit, and a great introduction to felting. I ran out of red yarn before I ran out of project, so I switched to the green yarn for the lip, and think it came out great.

I originally discovered this pattern via the Knitting Together For Synod 2014 project, where Moravians in the Southern Province are making these for the 2014 Synod delegates. I couldn’t resist making one for my SP when IBK had a Valentine’s Day swap.

This is a larger bowl than the pattern calls for -- I increased the needle size to 11 (or was it 13?) and knit with two strands of worsted weight held double. Using bulky weight and the larger needles would provide the same effect.

2014/01/17 - Notes, pictures, pattern, yarn, needles, etc. to come AFTER my SP receives the package. Nice try, Project Stalker!
