This is the original owl pattern by Penny Straker’s mother from so long ago. Many have copied her, but none have bettered. This might be the 6th one I’ve made as most of my gf’s that are now grandmas want this for their grandchildren! I love the yarn and I’ll be using it again. It’s machine washable but only too late I noticed it’s not machine dryable. Rats. Hope the mother remembers that little detail.
