Notes

I really love knitting up a slouchy sweatshirt type sweater in a luxurious yarn. This combination is perfect. The pattern is so pretty and easy enough for a beginner. Love that it’s oversized, although my mods made it a bit smaller. Angora Haze is so beautiful, the best angora I’ve ever used. The fabric is lightweight and fluid, very soft and light as a cloud. Shedding is minimal (as compared to other angora yarns I’ve used)

Because I used yarn with a smaller gauge than the pattern required my finished piece came out quite a bit smaller, which was my plan. I didn’t want it to be huge, just slightly oversized. Because of the row change, I started my V neck where I wanted it to start and didn’t worry about the pattern’s calculations. Also, my sleeves ended higher up than the original pattern, so I added a few inches of stockinette before I started the ribbing. I like it, but after it’s finished I don’t think it was necessary and I could have started the ribbing right away. Also, I knit in the round until the increases for the sleeves, then did the back first, then the front.
